IMPLEMENTATION ENGINEER
We are searching for a member to join our R&D team.
BrashTech is reinventing asset digitalization by delivering drone-captured, millimeter-precise 3D imagery in real-time.
Our team is distributed worldwide in NZ, Singapore and the US, with the latter serving as our primary market.
About the Role:
You will have the opportunity to participate in many leading-edge R&D aspects of our product development, centered around operationalizing our data capture solution and removing friction from the workflow:
Leading the implementation of our drone automation for cell tower inspection
Simulating drone automation in ROS/Gazebo and validating with the real platform
Working with our drone automation team to improve the automation backend
Testing to identify bugs and feature improvements in the data capture backend (C++, Python) and frontend app (Android Java).
This role will also involve supporting our US-based launch customer remotely. When border restrictions are lifted, some travel to the US for customer support will be necessary.
Key Requirements
This multifaceted role is well-suited to recent graduates or those nearing completion of an engineering or computer science course, i.e. BE, ME, BSc (CompSci) etc.
Problem solving, quick thinking, flexibility are essential
Programming experience is essential in C++ and Python
Knowledge and experience with Linux, ROS, and Gazebo
Drone flight experience, preferably PX4 or ArduPilot based
